UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES IN PSYCHOLOGY
Psychology, the study of mind and behaviour, is one of today’s most exciting and rapidly advancing scientific frontiers. Psychologists are interested in a broad range of topics including the nature of consciousness, the development of reasoning in children, the origins of racial prejudice, causes of social anxiety, behaviour in the workplace, and many others.
The Psychology Department at the University of Waterloo, one of the largest in the province of Ontario, reflects this wide range of topics well. Our department has a superb collection of internationally recognized scholars who are committed to providing undergraduate students with a wealth of educational experiences in the classroom, the laboratory, and the field. Our students are exposed to the cutting edge research methods, theories and experiments in the science of the mind that now appear in the news headlines on an almost daily basis.
We invite current and prospective students to peruse our website and hope you will find it useful and interesting.
