NB. We have a permanent projector and computer setup in PAS 3012, 3026 and PAS 4288 -- you don't need to book portable equipment if you are using those rooms. In addition we have a laptop/projector unit 1 on a cart, a second laptop, and a second portable projector.
Each of the desktops/laptops will have the latest version of MS Office installed as well as E-Prime. If you have any other specific software requirements, please email l2porter@uwaterloo.ca at least two weeks prior to your booking.
To book any of the laptops or projectors, please send email to Louise Porter (l2porter@uwaterloo.ca) with the requested date, time, room# and what the use will be (course#, seminar, etc).
Normally you can pick up and drop off the equipment from the Support Services Office (PAS 4030) -- if Helen is not there, stop by Louise Porter's office ( PAS 3023), Bill Eickmeier's office (PAS 4008), Carlos Mendes' office (PAS 3006) or as a last resort, PAS 3020. The Support Services Office is open from 8:30am-noon and 1:00-4:30pm -- you'll want to get it before lunch if you need it right at 12:30 or 1:00pm. If you are dropping it off, but nobody is around, lock it in an office and leave l2porter@uwaterloo.ca an email message with the location. If a booking ends and another starts over the lunch hour, I'd probably suggest that the two parties touch base with each other so that there's no misunderstanding as to what is happening with the equipment at that time.
