ENROLMENT POLICIES:
Please be aware that HRM applies the following enrolment policies:
- Overrides will not be granted for fully enrolled courses.
- Overrides will not be granted to students without the course prerequisites.
- HRM does not maintain waiting lists and the HRM instructors do not sign course override forms. It is therefore the student's responsibility to keep checking QUEST for any changes in the enrolment status of a course.
- Course reserves may be adjusted throughout the open enrolment period, but reserved seats will not be granted by override. It is the student's responsibility to keep checking QUEST for seats that may become available because of course drops and/or adjustments in course reserves.
- Students will not be permitted to enrol after the course add deadline for the term. Spaces that remain unfilled or that become available because of course drops after the deadline are not treated as new opportunities for students to join a course.
- Students who are requesting an exception to any of the above must submit their request in writing to the HRM Academic Advisor, clearly outlining their circumstances and why they believe an academic exception should be made.
ENROLMENT ADVICE:
- Students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of pre-enrolment and enrolment appointment opportunities as courses frequently fill up early.
- Keep checking QUEST often in case seats become available prior to term due to drops and/or adjustments in reserve restrictions.
- Enrol in a back-up course and then use the 'swap' feature on QUEST so you don't risk losing your seat.
- Submit your HRM application (see 'Prospective Students' on the left sidebar) at least two weeks in advance of your enrolment appointment to allow sufficient time for your application to be processed.
